EBO Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Ltd Main office is located in Bwizibwera Town Board, about 25 kilometres from Mbarara town on Ibanda Road. It was founded in 1995 as a rotating savings and credit association driven by the self-help spirit in Rutooma village, Rwanyamahembe Sub County, Kashari County.

EBO SACCO has benefitted from strategic partnerships with international development partners such as TRIAS, EU-SUFFICE,RABOBANK, CCA and is currently in a business relationship with aBi Trust. It has also received support from local partners such as Uganda Co-operative Alliance (UCA), Uganda Central Cooperative Finanacial Services

In the last four years the SACCO has grown rapidly and the business size has overtaken the current organisational structure and staffing levels. As the business continues to grow and with the coming regulation, other functions like operations manager, information technology, treasury management, compliance and risk management
